This is the beginning.

Demo
We started off removing all tile and fixtures in the bathroom, leaving only the shower remaining.
The Idea
First step to this bathroom was to plan. I created a design I knew would be usable and classic for years to come. Including a new vanity, toilet, faux shiplap, and new tile.
Blank Slate
The first step in this process was to remove popcorn texture from ceiling and prime walls and ceiling with Bullseye 1 2 3 Primer. Once primed I used Valspar Ultra white in Flat for ceiling and SW Alabaster for all walls.
Wall Feature
An important part of this design for this bathroom was shiplap. Being a budget DIYER, I chose to use .5mm sureply strips cut into 6 inch panels. (pro tip: lowes/HD will rip your plywood sheets for you)
*Make sure you paint walls in color you chose for your shiplap prior to adding shiplap to wall.
Start by using your Brad nailer to attach boards to drywall (glue is not recommended).
Attach all boards to complete design.
Once all panels are up prime and caulk edges and corners for seamless look. Apply 2 coats of paint in desired color.
(SW: Alabaster in Satin)
Turning from old to new
While we kept the original shower I knew I wanted the fixtures black. Using rustoleum I taped and sprayed all fixtures changing the entire look of the tub from drab to fab.
Flooring
The flooring I chose for this bathroom was a perfect feel for modern farmhouse vibes. Floor and decor had a great selection and had just what we needed.
For this project, I did not lay the tile. Will I in the future? You bet!
Last step
In order to bring this bathroom all together, we grabbed an 32 inch white vanity from lowes as well as American standard toilet. We also added faucet (Jacuzzi) from Lowes and mirror, light fixture, and pipe shelving from Amazon. (Check my Amazon storefront and LTK for all the finds)
The Reveal
This bathroom came together exactly as I hoped. With this being my first renovation, I was so proud of myself and this bathroom will be enjoyed for years to come.
